Teen Murdered Former Girlfriend For ”Bet And Free Lunch”

Actual murder took place in October, 2010.

Relaxing with his girlfriend, he looks the picture of innocence. Yet not long after this picture was taken with Rebecca Aylward, Joshua Davies battered her to death.

Davies, 16, lured his ex-girlfriend to a secluded spot where he killed her to win a bet over a free breakfast.

Rebecca, 15, and her mother Sonia had both been delighted when Davies, an academically gifted boy from a  churchgoing family, arranged to meet her again.

When her daughter failed to come home, Mrs Aylward’s reaction was to tell  her sister not to worry adding: ‘She’s safe, she’s with Josh’.

By that time Rebecca had been bludgeoned with a rock the size of a rugby  ball – and Davies was trying to cover his tracks on Facebook.

He failed – and was yesterday found guilty of murder.

The chilling case highlighted how he used the internet, text messages and an array of social networking sites to plot her death.

A few weeks before the murder, one of his friends had joked that he would ‘buy him breakfast’ if he carried out his threat.

Two days before he killed Rebecca, Davies told him: ‘You may have to buy me a breakfast.’

Mr Justice Lloyd  Jones lifted an order preventing the killer from being named and photographed, saying it was in the public interest that he should be  identified.

And Rebecca’s family issued a statement at Swansea Crown Court saying their lives had ‘stopped’ on the day in October 2010 when she was murdered.

‘Rebecca was killed in a senseless and barbaric act,’ they said. ‘She died at the hands of someone she loved and trusted.

‘We will never forget what he did to her or forgive him for destroying our family.’

Joshua Davies arriving at Swansea Crown Court

Joshua Davies arriving at Swansea Crown Court. The trial heard that two days before the murder Davies texted his friend to say: ‘Don’t say anything but you may just owe me a breakfast.’

Rebecca and Davies, from Aberkenfig,  near Bridgend, met at the age of 11 and began going out together in late 2009 but the relationship soured and was ended by Rebecca after three  months.

The following  October he asked to see her again. ‘Rebecca was quite happy to meet up  with him – she thought he was going to ask her back out,’ her mother  told the court.

‘She got up at 6am to get ready and to do her make-up. She put on her new clothes, bought the day before.  ‘Rebecca sounded really happy when she saw it was him coming down the hill towards her. ”I wanted to make sure it was him so I got Rebecca to say his full name twice.’

When the couple were alone, 6ft Davies repeatedly slammed a rock into Rebecca’s head before leaving her bloodied and battered body face-down on a wet forest floor.

He then took a friend, who cannot be named for legal reasons, to the scene to show him her body.

Davies told him: ‘Do you know how hard it is to break someone’s neck? She was facing away from me and I thought, “This is it, I’m going to go for it”.

‘I tried to break her neck. She was screaming so I picked up the rock and started to hit her with it. The worst part was feeling and seeing her skull give way.’

He then updated his Facebook page saying he was at home at the time of the murder, and after Rebecca had been reported missing even expressed his own fears for her welfare.  He then made plans to return to the forest near his home on the night of the murder to bury Rebecca’s body and even attempted to pin the blame on the friend he led to the scene, using it as his defence during the trial.

Police were alerted to the killing after one of Davies’s friends told his parents and led officers to the body.

Other friends told detectives that  Davies was a ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ character who was ‘fixated’ on murder and would threaten to kill anyone who crossed him.

They said that most of the time, Davies, who lived with his shop assistant  mother Hayley and mechanic father Steven, was a confident and outgoing  schoolboy in all the top sets who dreamed of becoming Prime Minister.

But he also had a ‘dark and sinister’ side that would surface when he fell out with people and was extremely ‘jealous and possessive’ of Rebecca.

Shortly after she ended their relationship he began spreading vicious rumours  about her having an abortion and trying to get pregnant to keep him following the break-up.

He would share his threats and scheming with his friends on social  networking sites and over text messaging, using textspeak to communicate.

The jury were given a list of text sayings and symbols to help them understand the conversations between the teenagers.

Davies was obsessed with violent films and his Bebo page lists his favourites, including ‘There Will Be Blood,’ in which Daniel Day-Lewis bludgeons a  man to death with a bowling pin.

He also told friends he was going to drown Rebecca in a river or throw her off a cliff and dump her body in a hole, inspired by the violent Spartan fantasy film 300.

He said: ‘Wouldn’t it be easier if she wasn’t here? I am going to kill her – it would be real easy.’

He even bought a toxic foxglove concoction that he said he was going to put in her drink so she would ‘die in her own filth’.

But despite all the warning signs, none of his friends believed he would actually carry out his threats.

Lifting an order preventing Davies being named and pictured because of his age, Mr Justice Lloyd Jones said: ‘This is a crime in a small and closely-knit community and it’s right that the public should know there has been a conviction and who has been convicted.

‘I accept that the weight given to the welfare of the boy changes now he has been convicted of a very serious offence.’

What would you do if I DID kill her… teenage murderer’s chilling text message to friend

Joshua Davies and his teenage friends inhabited their own online world in which the line between fiction and reality often became blurred.

They would use textspeak, jargon and symbols in a language so impenetrable that the jury had to be given translations.

The apparently playful way in which the schoolchildren communicated – in sentences peppered with smiley faces and symbols – belied the sinister nature of Davies’s intentions.

Rebecca even bought new clothes for the 'date' unaware Davies had been boasting to his friends how easy it would be to kill her.

Davies bludgeoned Rebecca to death with a rock the size of a rugby ball. He later boasted to a friend and showed him the scene

In the months and weeks leading up to Rebecca’s murder, he would post messages on social networking sites including Facebook, MSN Messenger and Bebo, saying he wanted to kill Rebecca.

His friends would respond to these  sickening threats in jest, often egging him  on in the mistaken belief that he was  messing around.

But Davies was deadly serious and continued sending the messages until just days before he battered her to death in a woodland clearing.

Before he left to meet his ex-girlfriend on the day of the murder he told one friend: ‘The time has come.’

He also goes on to say: ‘What would you do if I actually did kill her?’

The friend replies: ‘Oh, I would buy you breakfast.’

Two days before the brutal murder Davies says: ‘Don’t say anything but you may just owe me a breakfast.’

His friend replies: ‘Best text I have ever had mate. Seriously, if it is true I am happy to pay for a breakfast. I want all the details. You sadistic bastard.’

The text finishes with a smiley face symbol.

The friend, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said in court that he did not believe Davies and had not known how his texts would be taken, suggesting an extraordinary disconnect between the online world and reality.

‘I didn’t mean I wanted him to kill her,’ he said. ‘I thought he was only joking so I was messing about with him.

‘I honestly didn’t think he was going to do it – I was just playing along.’

Davies posted Facebook updates saying he was ‘just chilling with my two friends’ while watching Strictly Come Dancing to imply he was at home at the time the murder took place.

He later posted the Facebook status update: ‘I enjoyed a rather good day and a lovely breakfast’, in a clear reference to the bet he had made with his friend.

And he posted his own concerned messages on Facebook after Rebecca was reported missing, suggesting he was  genuinely worried and giving her family no cause to suspect he was involved.

‘I feel sorry for her mother,’ the murderer wrote on Facebook.

When asked why, he replied: ‘Well if I was a parent I’d be worried if my daughter was missing.’

44 Days Of Hell – The Murder Of Junko Furuta

44-days-of-hell November 25th, 1988 – January 4th, 1989

TOKYO, JAPAN → Born November 22nd, 1972, Junko Furuta had just celebrated her 17th birthday three days prior. The  Japanese teenager and Junior (grade 11) attended Yashio-Minami High School in Saitama Prefecture in Misato.

On November 25th, 1988, Junko left School and was walking home (although some reports say she was walking to her part-time after school job.) She never made it home.

She was kidnapped by a group of young men, including a 17-year-old who was identified as ‘Jō’ and would be later given the surname Kamisaku. They kept her captive in the house owned by the parents of Kamisaku, in the Ayase district of Adachi, Tokyo.

That was the beginning of her 44 days of torture. She didn’t know her abductors, they had no grudge against her and there was nothing specific that they were after. They attacked her because they could, embarking on weeks of atrocities because they could, and because they wanted to.

To forestall a manhunt, the kidnappers coerced Furuta into calling her mother and telling her that she had run away from home, but was with “a friend” and was not in danger. He also browbeat her into posing as one of the boys’ girlfriends when the parents of the house where she was held were around, but when it became clear that the parents didn’t care either way, he dropped this pretext.

Pictured; Far left: Junko,  three of the unidentified abductors and the home in which Junko was taken to and raped and tortured for 44-days. The same home she will eventually die alone in.

DAY 1: November 22, 1988: Kidnapped
Kept captive in house, and posed as one of boy’s girlfriend
Raped (over 400 times in total)
Forced to call her parents and tell them she had run away
Starved and malnutrition
Fed cockroaches to eat and urine to drink
Forced to masturbate
Forced to strip in front of others
Burned with cigarette lighters and set off fireworks in her ears, mouth, vagina
Foreign objects inserted into her vagina/anus including a still lit light-bulb
DAY 11: December 1, 1988: Severely beat up countless times
Face held against concrete ground and jumped on
Hands tied to ceiling and body used as a punching bag  until her damaged internal organs made blood run from her mouth
Nose filled with so much blood that she can only breath through her mouth
Dumbbells dropped onto her stomach
Vomited when tried to drink water (her stomach couldn’t accept it)
Tried to escape and punished by cigarette burning on arms
Flammable liquid poured on her feet and legs, then lit on fire
Bottle inserted into her anus, causing injury
DAY 20: December10, 1988: Unable to walk properly due to severe leg burns
Beat with bamboo sticks
Fireworks inserted into anus and lit
Hands smashed by weights and fingernails kracked
Beaten with golf club
Cigarettes inserted into vagina and forced to drink her own urine as they laughed
Beaten with iron rods repeatedly
Winter; forced outside to sleep in balcony
Skewers of grilled chicken inserted into her vagina and anus, causing bleeding.

And yet she’d almost escaped. One time she reached the telephone—but one of the boys caught her just in time and ended the call for help. They punished her by taunting her with a candle flame and finally dousing her legs in lighter fluid and set her on fire, as punishment for trying to run away. She went into convulsions; the boys would later say that they thought she was faking the seizure. They set her on fire again, then put it out. She survived this round.

DAY 30: Hot wax dripped onto face
Eyelids burned by cigarette lighter
Stabbed with sewing needles in chest area
Left nipple cut and destroyed with pliers
Hot light bulb inserted into her vagina
Heavy bleeding from vagina due to scissors insertion
Unable to urinate properly
Injuries were so severe that it took over an hour for her to crawl downstairs and use the bathroom
Eardrums severely damaged
Extreme reduced brain size
.
DAY 40: Begged her tortures to “kill her and get it over with”
January 1, 1989: Junko greets the New Years Day alone
Body mutilated
Unable to move from the ground
.
DAY 44: January 4, 1989: The four boys beat her mutilated body with an iron barbell, using a loss at the game of Mah-jongg as a pretext. She is profusely bleeding from her mouth and nose. They put a candle’s flame to her face and eyes.
Then, lighter fluid was poured onto her legs, arms, face and stomach, and then lit on fire. This final torture lasted for a time of two hours. Junko Furuta died later that day, in pain and alone. Nothing could compare 44 days of suffering she had to go through.
Less than 24-hours later, on January 5th, 1988, the killers hid Junko’s body in a 55-gallon drum, then filled it with concrete; they disposed the drum in a tract of reclaimed land in Kōtō,Tokyo.
When her mother heard the news and details of what happened to her daughter, she passed-out. She had to undergo a psychiatric outpatient treatment.
According to their statements at their trial, the four of them raped her, beat her, introduced foreign objects including an iron rod into her vagina, made her drink her own urine and was fed cockroaches, inserted fireworks into her anus, and set them off, forced Furuta to masturbate, cut her nipple with pliers, dropped dumbbells onto her stomach, and burned her with cigarettes and lighters. (One of the burnings was punishment for attempting to call the police.)At one point her injuries were so severe that according to one of the boys it took more than an hour for her to crawl downstairs to use the bathroom. They also related that “possibly a hundred different people” knew that Furuta had been imprisoned there, but it is not clear if this means they visited the house at different times while she was imprisoned there, or themselves either raped or abused her. When the boys refused to let her leave, she begged them on several occasions to “kill (her) and get it over with“.
Three of the boys identities were sealed by the court because of their age, even though they were tried as adults. They pled guilty to a reduced charge of “committing bodily injury that resulted in death”, instead of the original charge of murder. Jo Kamisaku was released in August 1999, and nearly 5 years later he was arrested and served 7 years for assualting a jealous love-rival and according to others who know him and spent time in prison with him, he had been bragging about what he had done to Furuta.

By 2004, Kamisaku, who was already released from prison for Junko’s horrific murder,  had allegedly renewed his contacts with the underworld, and was in trouble with the law again.

He was arrested for assaulting a 27-year-old acquaintance, Takatoshi Isono. Upset that a woman in his life might be involved with Isono, Kamisaku tracked the man down, beat him, shoved him in his trunk, drove him from Adachi to his mother’s bar in Misato, Furuta’s hometown, and continued to beat him. During the four-hour beating, Kamisaku allegedly threatened to kill the man, telling him that he’d killed before and knew how to get away with it.

During his trial Kamisaku admitted to the assault, but he denied that he’d referred to any previous murder or had threatened Isono.

Prosecutors wanted Kamisaku to spend another 7 years in prison. They got a conviction and the sentence they wanted.

Kamisaku has since been released again.

Love Triangle Killers Won't Face Death Penalty For Burying Former Flame Alive

Brandy Stevans-Rosine (Inset Top: Ashley Barber, Bottom: Jade Olmstead. )

Article Published August 29th, 2012

→ Ashley Marie Barber, 18, and Nicole “Jade” Olmstead, 20, were arraigned in Crawford County on August 24, 2012, for the murder of Brandy Stevens-Rosine, a student at Youngstown State University, and Olmstead’s former flame. The couple confessed to the murder at a preliminary hearing in July, revealed the gruesome details of the brutal murder to the court.

On May 17, 2012, Stevens-Rosine went to visit her ex, Olmstead, at the home she shared with her new partner, Ashley Marie Barber, 20, in Wayne Township. The couple lured her into the woods, kicked and beat her, strangled her — but not to death. Barber then head butted her, Olmstead beat her on the head with a shovel until her brains spilled out, and they repeatedly smashed her head against a stump. When they realized that Stevens-Rosine was still breathing the women bashed her face in with a large rock and poured water into her mouth and nose to drown her. Ultimately they buried her alive in the shallow grave prepared beforehand. The coroner’s report concludes that Stevens-Rosine died from asphyxia caused by dirt in her airway consistent with having been buried alive. Reports thus far have not mentioned how long the attack lasted, or how long Stevens-Rosine’s suffering would have lasted. The motive for the murder is also not clear. Both women are charged with one count of criminal homicide, conspiracy to commit criminal homicide and tampering with physical evidence. If convicted they will face life in prison without the possibility of parole — but not the death penalty.

District Attorney Francis Schultz decided, “after careful consideration of the law and the facts that have been uncovered in the investigation of this case,” not to ask for the death penalty in this case, he added that though the murder was “brutal,” the allegations did not meet Pennsylvania’s criteria for the requesting the death penalty: Murder in the first degree with at least one of 18 possible aggravating factors. Schultz stated that a first-degree murder case might qualify for the death penalty if the “offense was committed by means of torture.”

LATEST UPDATE – (NY)

Isabella Tennant, 5, was allegedly murdered by a 16-year-old family friend,  John Freeman, in her grandmothers home.

An upstate teen killed a 5-year-old girl he was babysitting “with his bare  hands” and, with the help of a friend, bagged her body and dumped it in an  alleyway garbage can, police said. Little Isabella Tennant’s slain body was found in at the bottom of a trash  can near downtown Niagara Falls at around 9 a.m. on Monday, a few hours after  her family reported her missing, authorities said.

“It’s a terrible crime. It tears at your heart,” Niagara Falls Police Capt.  William M. Thomson told reporters on Monday. “I have grandchildren the same age as this victim, and it is horrible.”

The suspect, John  Freeman, 16, was described as a “trusted” family friend who was asked to  look after the girl when her great-grandmother went to bed on Sunday night,  authorities said.

“It is very disturbing,” Thomson said, according to the Buffalo News. “We  don’t have any motive for this.”

Freeman and a pal, Tyler Best, 18, of Buffalo, were charged in the girl’s  death and made their first court appearance on Tuesday morning.

Isabella, who lived in Cheektowaga, was staying overnight with her  great-grandmother, Sharon Lascelle, while her mom worked a shift at a Niagara  Falls sports bar, the Buffalo News reported. Lascaelle went to bed at around 11:00 p.m., and asked Freeman to come over  and look after the tot, authorities said. Freeman and the family were “close,” authorities said, and he had looked  after the girl alone before. The family reported Isabella missing at around 6:30 a.m. after her mom came  home and couldn’t find her, authorities said.

Freeman was questioned, but told police he last saw the girl at around  midnight, the Buffalo News reported.

Cops quickly got a break in the case when Best, who was crashing with  Freeman, showed up at police headquarters at around 9 a.m. and admitted to  helping dump the little girl’s body. Best led police to a trash can in an alley between Third and Fourth streets,  just blocks from the Lascelle’s home, the newspaper said. The girl was fully clothed, and there were so signs the teen used any  weapons to kill her, police said. “At this time we believe Freeman killed Isabella with his bare hands …and  that Best was only involved after she was deceased and assisted with moving her  remains,” police said in a statement, which was posted on the local NBC News station.

Hundreds Attended Candel-light-Vigil To Honor The Murdered Girl

An autopsy was planned for Tuesday morning.

Freeman was charged with second-degree murder, while Best was charged with  tampering with evidence. Both pleaded not guilty. They were due back in court on Sept. 7.

Hundreds of stunned community members gathered at Sal Maglie Stadium, a  minor league ballpark, on Monday night for a candlelight vigil.

“There are no words I could say to take away (Isabella’s mother’s) pain… I  support her and I love her,” family friend Christina Conte told local NBC.

Nanny Caught On Hidden Camera Abusing 7-month-old BABY (TX)

Published: 08/20/12 By: Dailymail (Link below.)

A Texas nanny has been charged with  smothering a seven-month-old baby girl who was in her care multiple times a day  after being caught on a hidden camera.

Tirza Magana, 48, was arrested on Wednesday  after an unidentified couple from Houston came across some disturbing footage on  their nanny cam.

Magana was employed to care for the couple’s  baby after the child was born in January. In late May, the parents noticed that  something was amiss with their little girl, who was acting strange and appeared  lethargic.

The concerned parents decided to install a  hidden camera in their home to see what was happening when they were not around,  the TV station KHOUreported.

Not before long, the couple saw recordings of  Magana carrying the baby around by the head, throwing her into the crib like a  rag doll, and smothering the child by covering her nose and mouth and ‘applying  pressure,’ according to court documents.

‘She places both hands over the complainant’s  nose and mouth and applies force… causing the baby to flail about, struggling  to breathe,’ the documents stated.

The parents immediately fired the 48-year-old  nanny and contacted the authorities.

According to investigators, Magana has admitted  that she smothered the baby multiple times a day for a month and even realized  that her actions could have caused the baby’s death.

Dr Sheela Lahoti, professor of pediatrics at  the University of Texas Health Science Center,  who reviewed the footage,  said the infant was ‘at risk for suffocation and/or neck or spine injury due to  the actions’ of Magana, according to an arrest warrant cited by the Houston Chronicle.

Magana has been charged with child  endangerment, a felony, and was released on $10,000 bond on Friday.

Horiffic Abuse Of Little Children In Middle East

INDIA – The Bihar Police has arrested a godman who used to trample upon infants to supposedly cure them of their illnesses.

Baba Jamun Yadav used to carry out his bizarre practice in the villages of the state’s Katihar region. He would make infants lie on the ground and stand on them with his bare feet.

Shouting ‘Jai Ho’, Yadav would keep one foot on the child’s thighs and with the other press hard on the neck, risking the child’s death from suffocation.

Action was taken against Yadav after Headlines Today exposed the barbaric practice on Tuesday. Police said Yadav had been put behind bars at the Barari police station and an inquiry had begun.

Nine Year Old Girl Murdered By Her Bestfriend’s Sister

Elizabeth-Olten.jpg

Photo Of Elizabeth Olten

In St Martin, Missouri nine year old girl Elizabeth Olten innocently playing at her best  friends house not even 1000 ft from her own home was murdered and hidden by her best friends 15 year old sister. From my understanding the 15 year old did not  only murder but had pre-meditated the brutal attack. The child 9 year old Elizabeth Olter  was at her friends house and started heading home before her curfew. Alyssa Bustamante, the older sister of Elizabeth’s best friend, lured her to a nearby wooded area, where she  murdered the young girl by stabbing and choking her, then finally slitting her throat. She then went through great lengths to conceal her body, she already had two shallow graves dugged up, she placed the nine year old in one of them. The body was hidden just feet away from where police found  Elizabeth’s cell phone. There was a huge search for the missing girl and many feared that adult predator was on the loose. Police started combing the neiborhood and going door to door. They also made it a point to question local sex offenders living within so many miles of the neiborhood where the young girl went missing. It took police 3 days to find the culprit, who then led police to the young girls grave.

Alyssa-Bustamante-mugshots.jpg

Photo Of Alyssa Bustamante

Alyssa was a disturbed young teen. With both parents in jail for seperate crimes, she was living with her grandparents who raised her in a loving, religious household. They tried getting her involved in Church, but Alyssa was going threw, what they thought, was a ”rebel” stage. She dressed goth and was described as depressed. At the time of the murder, she had a youtube account which listed ”killing” as one of her hobbies. It also had videos, showing the young laughing as her two younger brothers touched a fench that gave them a ”shock” of electricity. In the video, in which Alyssa was taping, you could hear the teenager laughing and egging them on, she then touches the fence herself.

A best friend of Alyssa stated to Police, after the teens arrest, that she (Alyssa) would always speak of death and drugs, she also asked her if she ever thought about killing someone. The friend was taken aback, and according to her, started slowly distancing herself from Alyssa.

Alyssa had a diary in which she talked about the murders. and she even had a photo that she drew of two graves. Police wondered why she dug two graves and if they were originally intended for her younger brothers.

It didn’t take long for police to question and arrest Alyssa. She confessed rather quickly and lead Investigators to the grave. It was an emotional time for the family, friends and community. Such a thing never happened in town.

Alyssa has pleaded ‘Not Guilty’ for the Murder of Elizabeth Olten.
