Baby killed after her mother’s boyfriend shook, slapped, kicked and forcefully threw the child onto his bed where she bounced over four feet onto the floor

Article published by Dailymail.co.uk (also known as MailOnline) on 01/25/13 — Tragic 9-month-old girl is ‘beaten to death’ by her mother’s boyfriend in senseless fit of rage

A 23-year-old man stands accused of beating to death his girlfriend’s 9-month-old baby girl.

The infant, identified as Ariel Eluziario, was first taken to a hospital in New Bedford, Massachusetts at 6pm Thursday and then flown via helicopter to a children’s hospital in Providence, Rhode Island where she was pronounced dead around 10pm.

Last Christmas: Ariel Eluziario celebrated her first and only Christmas in 2012. She was brutally beaten and later died allegedly at the hands of her mother's 23-year-old boyfriend Ethen Harrison

Though the girl’s mother has not been identified, Mail Online was able to obtain photos of the tragically slain little girl through the accused killer’s public Facebook profile.

Ethen Harrison of New Bedford was arraigned in district court today on charges of reckless endangerment of a child, assault and battery on a child causing substantial bodily injury, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

He is currently being held without bail.

Harrison’s Facebook profile, which lists his occupation as ‘F*** That Sh**!!!!,’ also lists him as ‘In a Relationship’ with Amanda Eluziario.

Photos of the young couple together, the adorable little girl, and of both Harrison and Eluziario with the little girl remain on Eluziario’s profile.

So cold: Ethen Harrison, right, admitted to police he slapped, shook and dropped Arial Eluziario four feet off a bed. The 9-month-old girl was pronounced dead Jan. 24

Harrison admitted to police he slapped, shook and dropped Ariel Eluziario four feet off a bed. The 9-month-old girl was pronounced dead Jan. 24, 2013

Much of the photo section of Amanda Eluzario’s profile is dedicated to shots of the smiling little Ariel Lillian.
In one particularly jarring photo, Harrison looks down at the baby, sneering as she cries helplessly.

Brutally slain: As part of their move to revoke accused baby killer Ethen Harrison's bail, prosecutors in the case said Ariel Eluziario suffered 'subdural hemorrhage, retinal hemorrhaging, a blot clot in the brain and other signs of severe abuse'

As part of their move to revoke accused baby killer Ethen Harrison’s bail, prosecutors in the case said Ariel Eluziario suffered ‘subdural hemorrhage, retinal hemorrhaging, a blot clot in the brain and other signs of severe abuse’

Harrison, who was not Ariel’s father, was the only person with the baby at the time of the incident.

He was out on bail for unrelated pending charges including larceny and threats to commit a crime at the time of the slaying.
Harrison’s own father has held a restraining order against his son since June.

‘He is out of control,’ the father, Francis Harrison, attested in court documents. ‘When he mad he breaks things, windows, doors. Whatever he gets his hands on. He hurts himself. He carries knives.’

It is unclear if the weapon referred to in the charges against Harrison is a knife. Also unclear is the exact nature of all the injuries that led to Ariel Eluziario’s extremely untimely death.

Though police descriptions of her tragic end are vague, prosecutors submitted the child’s ‘subdural hemorrhage, retinal hemorrhaging, a blot clot in the brain and other signs of severe abuse’ as reasons the judge should revoke Harrison’s bail.

Harrison admitted during police questioning that he’d dropped Ariel onto the floor, forcefully picked her back up, threw her onto the bed and caused her to bounce four feet back down onto the floor. He also admitted to shaking and slapping the child.

Dozens of photos of Ariel were posted on Amanda Eluziario’s Public Facebook Profile which shows a healthy, normal infant. The more recent photo of the deceased child was posted two days before Christmas. Scrolling down the photos you’ll see Ariel at 7 and 8 months, the age she was when Harrison started a relationship with Eluziario. Harrison is shown in several photos feeding Ariel, including the photo below.

Horror as man ‘suffocated pregnant girlfriend, 17, by sitting on her head after deliberately crashing car at 100 mph’

A 19-year-old Pennsylvania man intentionally slammed his car at 100 mph into a guardrail, and then smothered his 17-year-old girlfriend by sitting on her head after learning that she might be pregnant, according to police.

Police filed homicide and other charges last week against Benjamin Daniel Klinger, 19, of Elizabethtown, for the December 4 death of Sammi Heller on an interstate near Manheim.

‘At first glance, this appeared to be simply another tragic vehicle accident,’ Lancaster County District Attorney Craig Stedman told the Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era. ‘However, the police worked hand-in-hand with our forensic experts and saw this was far more complicated, sinister and certainly criminal.’

The bizarre and tragic incident unfolded at around 2am on Route 283 in Ralpho Township when police say Klinger rammed his Toyota sedan into a guardrail, and then proceeded to smother his girlfriend.

Heller, a senior at J.P. McCaskey High School, was described in her obituary as athletic and a lover of motorcycles and horses. According to court documents, the 17-year-old and Klinger had a rocky on-again, off-again relationship.

She allegedly told a friend that Klinger previously tried to scare her while driving and that he had threatened to kill them both in a crash. Click here for full article written and published by Dailymail.co.uk

The Child Abuse Murder of Eli Johnson

Eli Johnson, 3,  lived with his mother Tye N. Shafer Johnson and her boyfriend Eddie E. Valdez. Eli’s mom knew abuse was going on in the home but never did anything to prevent it. After all, if she tried to stop her man he might leave right? If he left who would keep her bed warm or pay the bills?

Left; Johnson Center; Eli Right; Valdez

Perhaps I shouldn’t be so hard on mama, she did after all say that they had “talked” about how “rough” he was and told him she didn’t really like it much.

Before I go into the exact event that killed little Eli on that September day in 2009 I want to mention one of the departments that I’ve found to be involved in this family’s life. Oklahoma Department of Human Services. They came into contact with Tye and her children for the first time on November 6, 2008. 9 months before Eli was tortured and beaten to death, and maybe sexually abused. Those charges were never founded or admitted but how else do you explain pubic hair in a 3-year-olds underwear and on his genitals? I only found that mentioned in one document and it was never spoke of again.

When OKDHS received their first referral the complainant said Eli had multiple bruises on his bottom while in the care of his mother Tye. The person calling said the biological father took Eli to the hospital and the doctor told him to make a police report. The report was filed and pictures were taken.

It took 5 days for OKDHS to reach Tye and the kids because they were delaying contact with the agency. OKDHS interviewed Tye, the children’s father, the paternal grandmother and 3 witnesses and also observed the kids.

Eli had bruises that were nearly gone by this time on his behind, upper back and around his eye. They also stated in their report that the doctor noted seeing “what appears to be finger length projections extending onto the right buttock and another separate small yellow bruise over the right SI area” and a “small superficial laceration over the lateral left eyelid.”

After OKDHS finished their observation of the Johnson children they offered “Confirm-Services” and Tye agreed to accept help.

On December 11, 2008 OKDHS noted in their files that they had not received a referral to provide those services.

On January 7, 2009 there was a note that the case worker was working with Tye on anger-management for the last 3 weeks and the 8th was the last contact they had with Tye until after Eli was dead.

That note from the 8th stated that they recommended the father not to allow the kids to go back to the mother until she complete preventive services. OKDHS told her that she would have supervised visitation until she completed some of the preventative services, after that she would regain her regular custody schedule. Tye agreed and signed the voluntary services agreement.

On December 11th there was another note in OKDHS files that stated there was communications with the district attorney’s office, the current safety plan needed to be amended to comply with the court order granting visitation between Tye and the kids. The note also said Tye hadn’t started any preventative services to regain normal custody.

The amended safety plan allowed Eli and Candra to be with their mom during the day if an adult was in their presence, at night they went to their father’s. The kids mother and biological father agreed to the mother’s boyfriend, Eddie or his sister supervising the mother’s visits.

Tye told OKDHS she abused Eli, not Eddie.

Evelyn Johnson, the kids great-granddaughter told reporters that OKDHS gave the kids back to Tye after she took anger-management classes.

The next OKDHS complaint came after Eli was already dead.

Eli was 3-years-old on September 16, 2009 when he was brought into Itegris Southwest Medical Center. Baby Eli was covered in bruises on his arms, legs, upper stomach, face, forehead, and genitals and he had cuts and sores on his lips. Eli was pronounced dead within 20 minutes.

Eddie and Tye both were taken to the police station were Eddie told investigators that he beat Eli after becoming “enraged” at him for pottying in his pants and because Eli would not listen to him. He continuously punched Eli in the stomach with full force.

Photo of Eddie Valdez AKA child killer

After punching Eli in the stomach he lost all control and began attacking him all over his body. He then sat him on the toilet and told him he’d better use the bathroom. Eddie then left the bathroom for a little bit leaving Eli to sit there, to let him think about his hideous behavior. 3-year-olds should not be having accidents and Eddie expected Eli to get that through his head.

When Eddie returned he was furious, little Eli was on the bathroom floor “playing”, not sitting on the toilet where he’d commanded him earlier. Eddie saw red and lost control again. In a police report he told an investigator that he “blacked out” and no longer had control over himself. He has no idea how many times he hit 3-year-old Eli Johnson. Eddie says he did not “come to” until he saw Eli’s head in the toilet.

Afterwards, Eddie imposed a time-out on Eli by forcing him to stand on his toes with his hands behind his back but Eli could not do this because he was too weak from his beatings so Eddie put him on a kitchen table and made him do it there. Eddie must have thought he would have more leverage there.

Eli’s choice was to stand on his toes, hands behind his back or fall on his face 4 feet to the ground. Eli fell, numerous times. This infuriated Eddie more, Eli was faking and Eddie wasn’t in the mood for a 3-year-olds games, Eddie picked him up by his arms, held him out and dropped him at least twice but it could have been more.

Pictured: Eli standing beside his sibling

During Tye’s interview with investigators she says that she heard her man giving her baby boy a “spanking” for having an accident in his pants but she had taken a Lortab (prescription pain pill) and was chillin’ on the couch while her son was, in her words, “screaming and crying more than usual.” She then decided she would go and see what was up and that’s when she saw bumps, lumps and bruises all over Eli, especially his little head. She told Eddie that he was going to far. Tye said she loved Eddie and thought he would change.

They resumed their day as a loving couple. Eddie’s brother Robert Valdez was there the whole time, he chose to go about his routine to. There were other kids in the home to.

Eli began throwing up everywhere and wasn’t being his happy, normal self. This went on for 5 hours, Eli was becoming weaker, couldn’t walk, couldn’t eat, he wasn’t Eli anymore but Eddie and Tye both admittedly say they didn’t think to take him to the hospital or call 911. That would have been too much trouble and they couldn’t have that.

Finally, Eli collapses and Eddie and Tye realized they had no choice so they drove him to Integris Southwest Medical Center around 5:40PM. We know what happened next.

Eli’s younger sister Candra (Kandra depending on where you see it) Johnson was 2-years-old at the time. Eddie said on September 15, 2009 Candra was being a terror and not minding him. Eddie has a hard time getting toddlers to mind and controlling his temper. The officers found Candra and she was also covered in bruises, she was alive though, thank God.

Eddie admitted to having an “anger problem” and to causing the murder of Eli and abusing Candra. What a great guy for accepting responsibility. I can see why Tye loves him so much.

Previous to this incident Eddie beat Eli’s feet with a plastic baseball bat so bad that they were swollen and black because he had another potty-training accident. Tye took him to the hospital several days later and left Eddie for a very short period of time but went crawling back to him.

Tye was sentenced to life in prison by a Oklahoma county jury in May after being found guilty of first-degree murder, child neglect and enabling child abuse.

Eli’s maternal grandmother said Eddie had “mental control” over her and she should not be charged with Tye’s murder. “I do think that she needs to do time because she failed to protect him,” Kimberly Shepard explained.

Tye gave birth while in prison to a baby girl, she was placed for adoption and is with her new family.

Candra was placed in protective custody, allegedly with a family member and Tye’s parental rights have been terminated.

The OKDHS’s last statement was;

“The OKDHS overall finding was Confirm-Court Intervention Requested, with a determination of shocking and heinous, which included a recommendation by the OKDHS for termination of the biological mother’s parental rights to the younger sibling.”

Too little, to late.

Mugshot’s of both Johnson and Valdez (wish Johnson showed that much emotion while her own child was getting beaten to death.)

There were 7 other children removed from the home that same day, they belonged to Eddie and his brother Robert Valdez. Robert Valdez took a plea deal for neglect and was sentenced to 1 year in jail, he had to testify against Eddie and Tye.

Eddie Valdez pleaded guilty in March to first-degree murder and 2 counts of child abuse. He agreed to serve a life term without the possibility of parole.

Man Who Grew Bored Of His Fiancee And Decided To Bury Her ALIVE

Pictured; Michelina Lewendowska, 27, was attacked with a taster then tied up and buried alive and used her only tool, her engagement ring that her former fiance gave to her.

Muscle man: Bodybuilder Marcin Kasprzak shows off the physique he honed at a gym five days a week

Photo of Marcin Kasprzak which was taken only a few months before he attempted to murder Michelina by burying her alive. He was taking steroids at the time of the photo and assault.

Leeds, UK (Incident happened in May, 2011) — When Marcin Kasprzak, then 25, and Michelina Lewendowska, then 27, (soon to be Michelina Kasprzak, moved to the United Kingdom from their native Poland six years ago, the two were deeply in love with each-other. At one stage Marcin had proposed to his soon to be wife, getting down on one knee and giving her a beautiful engagement-ring which left her ecstatic. But after the birth of their son Jakub in the Spring of 2008 the relationship went down hill.

Engagement ring Marcin gave to Michelina. The same engagement ring that would ironically save her life.

Marcin worked at a meat factory and on his off hours he would visit the gym. Some sources even claimed he was obsessed with being in-shape and muscular that he would go to the gym daily to build up his muscles. They said he also became addicted to anabolic steroids which made him prone to violent outbursts.

Marcin was growing bored of Michelina who he claimed ”nagged her” to much. He started seeing other woman and eventually grew fond of a particular woman. He decided he ‘hated’ his girlfriend and no longer wanted her to live with him in his parents’ home in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Nor did he want to marry her at this point but knew he had a  child with Michelina which would make things more difficult.

He didn’t want his son to be raised by Michelina but he wasen’t ”man enough” to raise the child himself. Instead, he wanted his mother to bring up their young son.

He sucked up his dislike for Michelina and they continued with their routine, although barely on speaking terms the couple continued living together until months of bitterness festered inside Marcin and the resentment grew to the point that he eventually had it, he wanted her gone and was determined to get her ”out of the way.”

He contacted a friend of his, 18-year-old accomplice Patryck Borys and filled in him on his plan, which soon became their reality.

One day in the Spring of 2011, Borys came over and they were ready to put their plan into action. Marcin had tricked Michelina into thinking they were going on a shopping trip. But as she stood in the hallway of their home and according to Marcin she started complaining about nonsense which enraged him and he suddenly charged at her, coming up behind her. He shot her twice in the neck with a 300,000 volt Taser-style gun.
Vicious attack: The 300,000-volt stun gun that callous Kasprzak used on his partner left her struggling to breathe and move for two weeks

TASERED: The 300,000-volt stun gun that callous Kasprzak used on his partner left her struggling to breathe and move for two weeks.

“I was trying to push him away with the taser. He knelt down, he pressed my ribs with his knee and continued to use the taser,” she said.

Lewendowska was tasered twice in the neck, bound and gagged, and put into a cardboard computer box, she said.

The woman told the court Marcin and Borys taped the box shut, put her in the trunk of a car, then drove her to the woods on the outskirts of Huddersfield and buried her, head down, under nearly half a foot of with soil and a 90lb branch on top of the box to stop her escaping. He then left her to suffocate.

Michelina described how her former fiancee and his friend were shovelling soil on top of the box ‘so that it would be impossible for me to get out’.

‘I could feel that the box was becoming smaller and smaller,’ she said.

She then testified that she struggled to breathe, then made use of the only tool she had, her engagement ring. She cut her legs free, then scratched at the box.

“I started to tear the box apart. I was focusing on the opening I had just made. Soil was getting in. My face was getting dirty. I could see some black sky and leaves. I was so exhausted,” she told the court.

After getting her head out into the open she prayed for inspiration, exclaiming: ‘My God tell me what now.’

She then screamed but noone could hear her in the densely wooded area so she clawed, kicked and punched her way out of the earth. She said it took her a half hour to cut herself out of her cardboard coffin. She then staggered to a nearby road to raise the alarm late at night.

Pictured; The cardboard box Michelina Lewendowska was placed in then put underground as she struggled to breathe.

Pictured; Police came to the scene and this is what they found, a broken/busted cardboard box and a shallow grave nearby.

During Marcin’s trial at Leeds Crown Court he said he only meant to scare her and claimed he always intended to come back and free her. But instead of helping her, he took her credit-card and withdrew hundreds of dollars before heading to Borys home where the two were arrested hours later.

Prosecutors had a different motive, they say Marcin had grown bored with Michelina and wanted her out of the way so he could start a new romance with another woman and have his mother raise their child.

“I can tell you now that they were not left specifically or intentionally for me to live,” said Michelina.

Patryck Borys was cleared of attempted murder by a jury on December 18, 2011. He pleaded guilty to kidnapping at a previous hearing. Kasprzak  also admitted possessing a prohibited weapon.

On December 19, 2011 Marcin was sentenced to twenty-years in prison.

After the verdict, Michelina had made several statements:

‘The big question for me now is how long he’ll be jailed for because I won’t feel safe if he is free,’ she said after the verdict.

‘I still have nightmares that Marcin will come back to find me and kill me. I want him to be locked up in a safe place for as long as possible, just so that me and my son can try to have a happy life.

‘For many years I loved Marcin Kasprzak very much. But after  his horrific attack upon me my feelings towards him have turned  to hatred.

‘My only hope is that he can accept that what he did to me was very wrong. I really hope that no one will ever experience what I went through on that day, at the hands of a man whom I loved and trusted.’

She added: ‘During my time inside my shallow grave where I was buried alive I feared that my life was at an end and I was going to die.

‘I prayed to God to help me to survive so that I could look after my young son.

‘The thought of my son gave me the strength to fight my way out of the box and save myself.’

Teen Murdered Former Girlfriend For ”Bet And Free Lunch”

Actual murder took place in October, 2010.

Relaxing with his girlfriend, he looks the picture of innocence. Yet not long after this picture was taken with Rebecca Aylward, Joshua Davies battered her to death.

Davies, 16, lured his ex-girlfriend to a secluded spot where he killed her to win a bet over a free breakfast.

Rebecca, 15, and her mother Sonia had both been delighted when Davies, an academically gifted boy from a  churchgoing family, arranged to meet her again.

When her daughter failed to come home, Mrs Aylward’s reaction was to tell  her sister not to worry adding: ‘She’s safe, she’s with Josh’.

By that time Rebecca had been bludgeoned with a rock the size of a rugby  ball – and Davies was trying to cover his tracks on Facebook.

He failed – and was yesterday found guilty of murder.

The chilling case highlighted how he used the internet, text messages and an array of social networking sites to plot her death.

A few weeks before the murder, one of his friends had joked that he would ‘buy him breakfast’ if he carried out his threat.

Two days before he killed Rebecca, Davies told him: ‘You may have to buy me a breakfast.’

Mr Justice Lloyd  Jones lifted an order preventing the killer from being named and photographed, saying it was in the public interest that he should be  identified.

And Rebecca’s family issued a statement at Swansea Crown Court saying their lives had ‘stopped’ on the day in October 2010 when she was murdered.

‘Rebecca was killed in a senseless and barbaric act,’ they said. ‘She died at the hands of someone she loved and trusted.

‘We will never forget what he did to her or forgive him for destroying our family.’

Joshua Davies arriving at Swansea Crown Court

Joshua Davies arriving at Swansea Crown Court. The trial heard that two days before the murder Davies texted his friend to say: ‘Don’t say anything but you may just owe me a breakfast.’

Rebecca and Davies, from Aberkenfig,  near Bridgend, met at the age of 11 and began going out together in late 2009 but the relationship soured and was ended by Rebecca after three  months.

The following  October he asked to see her again. ‘Rebecca was quite happy to meet up  with him – she thought he was going to ask her back out,’ her mother  told the court.

‘She got up at 6am to get ready and to do her make-up. She put on her new clothes, bought the day before.  ‘Rebecca sounded really happy when she saw it was him coming down the hill towards her. ”I wanted to make sure it was him so I got Rebecca to say his full name twice.’

When the couple were alone, 6ft Davies repeatedly slammed a rock into Rebecca’s head before leaving her bloodied and battered body face-down on a wet forest floor.

He then took a friend, who cannot be named for legal reasons, to the scene to show him her body.

Davies told him: ‘Do you know how hard it is to break someone’s neck? She was facing away from me and I thought, “This is it, I’m going to go for it”.

‘I tried to break her neck. She was screaming so I picked up the rock and started to hit her with it. The worst part was feeling and seeing her skull give way.’

He then updated his Facebook page saying he was at home at the time of the murder, and after Rebecca had been reported missing even expressed his own fears for her welfare.  He then made plans to return to the forest near his home on the night of the murder to bury Rebecca’s body and even attempted to pin the blame on the friend he led to the scene, using it as his defence during the trial.

Police were alerted to the killing after one of Davies’s friends told his parents and led officers to the body.

Other friends told detectives that  Davies was a ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ character who was ‘fixated’ on murder and would threaten to kill anyone who crossed him.

They said that most of the time, Davies, who lived with his shop assistant  mother Hayley and mechanic father Steven, was a confident and outgoing  schoolboy in all the top sets who dreamed of becoming Prime Minister.

But he also had a ‘dark and sinister’ side that would surface when he fell out with people and was extremely ‘jealous and possessive’ of Rebecca.

Shortly after she ended their relationship he began spreading vicious rumours  about her having an abortion and trying to get pregnant to keep him following the break-up.

He would share his threats and scheming with his friends on social  networking sites and over text messaging, using textspeak to communicate.

The jury were given a list of text sayings and symbols to help them understand the conversations between the teenagers.

Davies was obsessed with violent films and his Bebo page lists his favourites, including ‘There Will Be Blood,’ in which Daniel Day-Lewis bludgeons a  man to death with a bowling pin.

He also told friends he was going to drown Rebecca in a river or throw her off a cliff and dump her body in a hole, inspired by the violent Spartan fantasy film 300.

He said: ‘Wouldn’t it be easier if she wasn’t here? I am going to kill her – it would be real easy.’

He even bought a toxic foxglove concoction that he said he was going to put in her drink so she would ‘die in her own filth’.

But despite all the warning signs, none of his friends believed he would actually carry out his threats.

Lifting an order preventing Davies being named and pictured because of his age, Mr Justice Lloyd Jones said: ‘This is a crime in a small and closely-knit community and it’s right that the public should know there has been a conviction and who has been convicted.

‘I accept that the weight given to the welfare of the boy changes now he has been convicted of a very serious offence.’

What would you do if I DID kill her… teenage murderer’s chilling text message to friend

Joshua Davies and his teenage friends inhabited their own online world in which the line between fiction and reality often became blurred.

They would use textspeak, jargon and symbols in a language so impenetrable that the jury had to be given translations.

The apparently playful way in which the schoolchildren communicated – in sentences peppered with smiley faces and symbols – belied the sinister nature of Davies’s intentions.

Rebecca even bought new clothes for the 'date' unaware Davies had been boasting to his friends how easy it would be to kill her.

Davies bludgeoned Rebecca to death with a rock the size of a rugby ball. He later boasted to a friend and showed him the scene

In the months and weeks leading up to Rebecca’s murder, he would post messages on social networking sites including Facebook, MSN Messenger and Bebo, saying he wanted to kill Rebecca.

His friends would respond to these  sickening threats in jest, often egging him  on in the mistaken belief that he was  messing around.

But Davies was deadly serious and continued sending the messages until just days before he battered her to death in a woodland clearing.

Before he left to meet his ex-girlfriend on the day of the murder he told one friend: ‘The time has come.’

He also goes on to say: ‘What would you do if I actually did kill her?’

The friend replies: ‘Oh, I would buy you breakfast.’

Two days before the brutal murder Davies says: ‘Don’t say anything but you may just owe me a breakfast.’

His friend replies: ‘Best text I have ever had mate. Seriously, if it is true I am happy to pay for a breakfast. I want all the details. You sadistic bastard.’

The text finishes with a smiley face symbol.

The friend, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said in court that he did not believe Davies and had not known how his texts would be taken, suggesting an extraordinary disconnect between the online world and reality.

‘I didn’t mean I wanted him to kill her,’ he said. ‘I thought he was only joking so I was messing about with him.

‘I honestly didn’t think he was going to do it – I was just playing along.’

Davies posted Facebook updates saying he was ‘just chilling with my two friends’ while watching Strictly Come Dancing to imply he was at home at the time the murder took place.

He later posted the Facebook status update: ‘I enjoyed a rather good day and a lovely breakfast’, in a clear reference to the bet he had made with his friend.

And he posted his own concerned messages on Facebook after Rebecca was reported missing, suggesting he was  genuinely worried and giving her family no cause to suspect he was involved.

‘I feel sorry for her mother,’ the murderer wrote on Facebook.

When asked why, he replied: ‘Well if I was a parent I’d be worried if my daughter was missing.’
